UBABAXU
Ubabaxu is a DJ born in Pavia in 2001. From an early age he developed a great passion for music, which in the early years he vented through assiduous listening to the radio. It is thanks to the radio, during the period of popularity of EDM in the early 2010s, that he became passionate about electronic music, quickly approaching bass music thanks to artists such as Skrillex and Virtual Riot. He then discovered Brostep, Dubstep and especially Drum and Bass. This great passion will then leave room in early adolescence for the discovery of new genres such as Heavy Metal and Hip Hop, which push him to start playing the Electric Bass. Rich in these experiences, Ubabaxu falls in love with electronic music again, and begins his activity as a DJ mixing Drum and Bass, Neurofunk and Jungle. In 2024, Ubabaxu's style has reached a new maturity, fusing UK Garage, Breaks, Bassline and in some cases House and UK Dubstep, seeking a dark and dirty sound, which takes strong inspiration from great modern DJs such as Bakey, Interplanetary Criminal, Soul Mass Transit System and MPH, but also from pioneers such as DJ EZ, MJ Cole and Todd Edwards.
URAMAKIURAMAKI
After leaving behind commercially successful projects, they have guaranteed collaborations with important labels such as Sony and Columbia, Antonio Coronato has chosen to distance himself from the mainstream scene, guided by a profound need for experimentation. Since January 2023, under the pseudonym of "uramakiuramaki", began releasing tracks of all genres, exploring new ones musical directions. Driven by the need to rediscover the true reasons that lead him to compose music for over 15 years, uramakiuramaki has decided to deliberately isolate himself from the panorama of the contemporary music industry. He embarked on a journey solitary, with no particular ambitions other than to keep his own alive curiosity day after day. After the release of his first single "Going Under (340)" and his EP debut "Yoshimitsu", Antonio has continued to release tracks that range between Breakbeat, Jungle and Techno. This continuous exploration shaped his style alternative and unpredictable, free from the genre constraints that often limit artists. For uramakiuramaki, music is therapy, rather than a means to seek fame or recognition. With the release of two further EPs in the first half of 2024, "Club Nostalgia” and "yūrei", Antonio began to capture the attention of the underground scene of electronics, thanks to its unconventional and innovative approach.

PURE LIQUID VIBES
Dalla fusione della musica jungle e le atmosfere funky soul passando per sfumature house emerge a fine anni ‘90 il liquid funk (detto più comunemente liquid drum and bass), termine coniato dal grande Dj Fabio proprio per rendere il tipo di flow che caratterizza questo sottogenere della drum and bass. Seppur inizialmente distinte, con il tempo il liquid funk e l’atmospheric dnb si sono spesso intrecciate tra loro marcando indelebilmente questa dimensione della drum and bass. Grazie a veri e proprie icone come Calibre, High Contrast, Dj Marky, Makoto, LTJ Bukem, Nu:Tone e molti altri la liquid dnb si è fatta strada nei cuori degli amanti della musica, arrivando addirittura ad essere tema di festival di grandi etichette come Liquicity. La liquid dnb è il sottogenere che più mi ha emozionato in questi anni di ascolto della drum and bass, mi ha cresciuto dall’adolescenza quando ebbi il privilegio di assistere a un live di Calibre, a Belfast, e mi ha sempre tenuto connesso alla mia dimensione interiore sognatrice, per questo motivo il mio desiderio di farla conoscere meglio agli ascoltatori è frutto dell’amore che provo per questo genere e della volontà di condividere questa poesia musicale. Mettetevi le cuffie, rilassatevi e godetevi il viaggio.. Benvenute in Just Liquid! In the late 90s a new sub genre emerged. A massive output from the fusion of jungle music and funky soul atmospheres through house shades. It was named liquid funk (more commonly called liquid drum and bass), a term coined by the great Dj Fabio just to give the idea about the type of flow that characterizes this sub-genre of drum and bass. Although initially distinct, over time the liquid funk and the atmospheric dnb have often intertwined with each other, indelibly marking this dimension of drum and bass. Thanks to real icons such as Calibre, High Contrast, Dj Marky, Makoto, LTJ Bukem, Nu:Tone and many others, the liquid dnb has made its way into the hearts of music lovers, even becoming a main theme for festivals by big labels like Liquicity. The liquid dnb is the subgenre that has excited me most in these years of listening to drum and bass, it has raised me since my adolescence when I had the privilege of attending a live set made by Calibre, in Belfast, and always kept me connected to my inner dreamer dimension. For this reason my desire to make it better known to listeners is the result of the love I feel for this genre and the willingness to share such music poetry.
