FRASTA

Francesca Domizi (Ostia, RM, 1988) has been interested in music and visual arts since high school. She has always frequented artists. Since she was a child she enjoyed building playlists, and thanks to this interest she spread songs and works by emerging talents. She is familiar with several musical genres (Reggae, Hip-hop, Chill, Soul, Rnb, ...), and has been influenced by UK sounds (Grime, Drill, DnB, Garage). She lives in England, sharing there, as indeed (previously) in Bologna (IT), the material condition of the urban proletariat. She cooks well. She is surrounded by friends. She lives.

Dj

JAHPAWA

Jahpawa began his career as a DJ in 1996, exploring the territories of hardcore gabber, techno and progressive, ranging between the subgenres of electronic music. In 2000, he approached the reggae genre, losing his head for dubteppah and roots sounds.2009 he joined the UNDERGROUND AREA crew where he still plays around the countryIn 2010, Jahpawa moved to the south of England, playing in various clubs in Croydon, including the famous "Black Sheep Bar", the cradle of London dubstep. Here he shared the console with notable artists such as Ntype, Walsh, Youngsta and Plastician, further enriching his musical baggage. Over time, the BPM of his DJ sets increases, resulting in sets full of ragga jungle and dnb. During his stay in England he participated in numerous "RUM & BASS" live events organized by the pirate radio station Dissident Island, and also made appearances on several radio shows such as KoolFM, Reprezent FM and subFM. These experiences ignited his passion for radio, leading him, years later, to found Jungle Planet Radio. In 2020 he founded JUNGLE PLANET RADIO, a radio show initially affiliated with RadiolocalidItalia and then subsequently becoming independent.

MATHA

Matha takes his first steps in the drum and bass towards adolescence in Belfast, the home of Calibre, where he attends her live set and where he gets to know for the first time the universe of drum and bass first person. Calibre's liquid style and the knowledge of various artists and pioneers of the genre remain definitively inside him as unattended heritage, because in Italy the scene is not accessible to everyone and is often snubbed at a general level. Football, school, university and work dislod him for some time from the passion that however remains and periodically comes back to the surface. By going deeper into the underground environments, he slowly rediscovers a world that belonged to him but that he had never been able to touch for good. The definitive breakthrough is the knowledge of Scrambled Brains and Dj Hobbes from Gtk Soundsystem. He spends Sunday afternoons with Scramble Brain putting on vinyls and has the opportunity to contemplate the art of vinyl live. Thanks to them, after his move to Bologna, he meets Jungle Planet Radio, with whom a wonderful relationship will begin, so much so that he himself calls it his second family.

Dj

UBABAXU

Ubabaxu is a DJ born in Pavia in 2001. From an early age he developed a great passion for music, which in the early years he vented through assiduous listening to the radio. It is thanks to the radio, during the period of popularity of EDM in the early 2010s, that he became passionate about electronic music, quickly approaching bass music thanks to artists such as Skrillex and Virtual Riot. He then discovered Brostep, Dubstep and especially Drum and Bass. This great passion will then leave room in early adolescence for the discovery of new genres such as Heavy Metal and Hip Hop, which push him to start playing the Electric Bass. Rich in these experiences, Ubabaxu falls in love with electronic music again, and begins his activity as a DJ mixing Drum and Bass, Neurofunk and Jungle. In 2024, Ubabaxu's style has reached a new maturity, fusing UK Garage, Breaks, Bassline and in some cases House and UK Dubstep, seeking a dark and dirty sound, which takes strong inspiration from great modern DJs such as Bakey, Interplanetary Criminal, Soul Mass Transit System and MPH, but also from pioneers such as DJ EZ, MJ Cole and Todd Edwards.

Dj

ISLAM PUNK

Islam punk was born in Dozza (Bologna) in 1998. In 2019 the DJ approached DRUM'n'BASS music after a childhood dedicated to the great Italian classics and metal. His style contains different sounds of different styles such as #DubStep and techno. In his head he remains hypnotized by 4x4 understanding that this is the style he has always looked for in his DJ sets. He thus began to dedicate himself to mixing this genre that reflects him, in many private parties but also in various clubs in the area. From here PUNK ISLAM was born, taken from a famous song by the group CCCP. In recent years he has been committed to producing new tracks, thus trying to make his style and his musical imprint recognized. With the show INTALEX MOMENT for JUNGLE PLANET RADIO he tries to include the different styles of drum'n'bass, also proposing them with some well-known vocals to make it catchy even for those who don't follow or don't deeply love the genre.”

Dj

URAMAKIURAMAKI

After leaving behind commercially successful projects, they have guaranteed collaborations with important labels such as Sony and Columbia, Antonio Coronato has chosen to distance himself from the mainstream scene, guided by a profound need for experimentation. Since January 2023, under the pseudonym of "uramakiuramaki", began releasing tracks of all genres, exploring new ones musical directions. Driven by the need to rediscover the true reasons that lead him to compose music for over 15 years, uramakiuramaki has decided to deliberately isolate himself from the panorama of the contemporary music industry. He embarked on a journey solitary, with no particular ambitions other than to keep his own alive curiosity day after day. After the release of his first single "Going Under (340)" and his EP debut "Yoshimitsu", Antonio has continued to release tracks that range between Breakbeat, Jungle and Techno. This continuous exploration shaped his style alternative and unpredictable, free from the genre constraints that often limit artists. For uramakiuramaki, music is therapy, rather than a means to seek fame or recognition. With the release of two further EPs in the first half of 2024, "Club Nostalgia” and "yūrei", Antonio began to capture the attention of the underground scene of electronics, thanks to its unconventional and innovative approach.

Dj

EPCORAW (MMB)

Milan resident, music producer and dj epcoraw brings a unique perspective to underground bass music. Born in Naples but moved in Milan to study music, the SAE Institute graduate, first gained recognition among the Italian Hip Hop and Trap scenes as a beatmaker and engineer, collaborating and networking with small and big artists, making his name relevant enough before noticing he was not working and crafting the genre he truly loved, so in 2019 he decided to build a new music project, called Jesuz. Along with music producer Weero, they put bass music, especially dubstep, at the center of it. They independently released an ep, and a remix of the song Piece of my heart by Meduza, having positive feedbacks from the community. Going forward, epcoraw makes his solo debut on various small labels such as the North American label Trap Beasts and Dreamworld. His main goal is to elevate and evolve an obscure sound with a sentimental twist on UK- dubstep and Drum and Bass. His music, which ranges from 100 to 160 bpm, boldly pushes the boundaries of the genre, trying to elevate the standard concepts of his works. In 2023, with Ric de Large, Weero and IKB, he founded the music collective SOLARPUNKK, and subsequently, along with Grime Spitterz and NoMoreHigh, the indipendent music label Much Much Bass.
